PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device of a controller for controlling an LUN for improving the response performance of a disk array device to an input/output instruction from a host device.SOLUTION: A switching device includes: equipment configuration storage means for storing connection relation information between a controller and a disk device; and commanding means for receiving an input/output instruction via the controller to identify a disk device as the target of the input/output instruction, for determining whether or not the disk is connected to the controller from the connection relation information, and for, when determining that the disk is not connected to the controller, commanding the connection of the disk to the controller. |
