PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shifter circuit that dispenses with high voltage elements.SOLUTION: The level shifter circuit keeps gate-source, gate-drain or source-drain potential differences of a transistor P5 and a transistor P6 at an input stage of a control signal and a transistor N5 and a transistor N6 at an output stage of a control signal, within a predetermined range by means of a transistor P7 and a transistor P8 at a bias stage. A negative potential VBIAS (for example, -4.2 V) is applied to the bias stage, and a potential difference applied to the input stage and the output stage is at most a potential difference (6 V) between a positive potential VDDL (for example, 1.8 V) and the negative potential VBIAS. This can dispense with high voltage elements to configure a level shifter circuit comprising middle voltage elements having a withstanding voltage of, for example, 6.5 V. |
