APPARATUS FOR CHANGING UPPER PLATE OF A BRIDGE AND METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to an apparatus for changing an upper plate of a bridge and a method thereof. The apparatus for changing an upper plate of a bridge comprises: a first rail provided next to an upper plate to be in a line with the upper plate; a second rail positioned across the first rail, positioned above the first rail and below the upper plate, and including a separate rail formed by cutting a section including the first rail; a first rail side truck movably provided on the first rail and allowing the separate rail to be fixated and supported thereon; a first rail auxiliary truck movably provided on the first rail and having the same separate rail as the separate rail; and a plurality of second rail trucks movably provided on the second rail and supporting each bridge upper plate by moving the same up and down. The present invention shortens a working time for replacing an upper plate of a worn bridge with a new upper plate, has a simple structure, and minimizes the costs.
