The present invention relates to a submerged arc welding device of butting a pipe. The submerged arc welding device comprises: a main frame, a fixing frame, and a submerged arc welding unit. The submerged arc welding unit comprises: a vertical welding frame installed in one side of the main frame to be able to move; a horizontal welding frame installed to move from the vertical welding frame from side to side; a wire supplier consistently supplying wire from a wire reel on which the wire is wound; a flux supplier supplying flux accommodated therein through a flux tube; a welding torch fixated to the horizontal welding frame and receiving the wire from the wire supplier, wherein the welding torch arc-welding a temporary welding unit by generating an arc in accordance with an application of power; a flux spray unit fixated to the front of the welding torch and receiving the flux by being connected to the flux tube of the flux supplier, wherein the flux spray unit sprays the flux to the temporary welding unit arc-welded by the welding torch; an X-axis rotation unit fixated to a lower part of the vertical welding frame in order for the welding torch to move along a circumference of the temporary welding unit, and rotating the horizontal welding frame around an X-axis; and a horizontal moving control unit connecting the horizontal welding frame and the X-axis rotation unit, and fixating or releasing a horizontal movement of the horizontal welding frame. The present invention provides the submerged arc welding device for butting the pipe, capable of forming an even welding bead and improving welding accuracy by controlling an angle of the welding torch by rotating the welding torch around a circumferential direction of the temporary welding unit; in other words the X-axis. |
