<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable blast furnace operation by determining the speed at a tuyere tip which can control pressure fluctuation from the profile of the blast furnace. <P>SOLUTION: The value obtained by dividing an internal volume of a blast furnace by the number of tuyeres of the blast furnace is defined as a blast furnace index v-tuy. The value Vt/v-tuy is obtained by dividing the speed at a tuyere tip Vt, which is blowing speed from each tuyere of the blast furnace, by the blast furnace index v-tuy. Based on the relation between the value Vt/v-tuy and a pressure fluctuation index σΔP/V, the speed at the tuyere tip Vt is set and controlled so that the value Vt/v-tuy, which is obtained by dividing the speed at the tuyere tip Vt by the blast furnace index v-tuy, is in a predetermined range. Specifically, the speed at the tuyere tip Vt is controlled so that the value Vt/v-tuy, which is obtained by dividing the speed at the tuyere tip Vt by the blast furnace index v-tuy, is in the range of 1.75-2.25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
