The present invention relates to a clogging preventing apparatus for a slurry pump, which prevents the concentration of solid particles from exceeding a threshold, which comprises: a water supply unit for supplying water; a grinder to grind water supplied from the water supply unit and solid particles put in and generate slurry where water and solid particles are mixed; a buffer chamber with a space to receive and store the slurry from the grinder; a limiting unit on the top end of the buffer chamber to limit the density of the solid particles of the slurry flowing from the buffer chamber; a flux measuring unit on the top of the limiting unit to measure the flux flowing from the limiting unit; and a pump on the top of the flux measuring unit to let the slurry flow through the flux measuring unit and convey the slurry through a supply pipe. The present invention can prevent clogging in a slurry pump.
