A disposable wearing article in which a chassis defining front and rear waist regions and a crotch region would not be ruptured. A diaper (1) includes a chassis (10) having a front waist region (11) and a rear waist region (12) and a crotch region (13) located between the front and rear waist regions (11, 12) and a pair of side panels (70) attached in lateral edges (16) in the rear waist region (12) of the chassis (10). The side panel (70) includes a stretchable member (80) being stretchable in the lateral direction (X) and a regulating member (90) overlapping the stretchable member (80). In the regulating member (90) of the side panel (70), a splitting guide line (93) extending in a longitudinal direction (Y) is defined by a series of perforations extending in the longitudinal direction (Y). |
