PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque driver capable of setting an arbitrary torque value without using any encoder.SOLUTION: A torque driver comprises: a driver body; a bit; energization means for energizing the driver body and the bit; clutch mechanism for jointing the driver body and the bit by the energization force of the energization means when a torque value applied to the bit is at or lower than a predetermined torque value, and for releasing the joint between the driver body and the bit against the energization force of the energization means when the torque applied to the bit exceeds the predetermined torque value, thereby to rotate the driver body and the bit idly; torque adjusting means for displacing the energization force of the energization means thereby to set the predetermined torque value; a displacement acquiring plate associated with the displacement of the energization force of the energization means by the torque adjusting means; a variable resistor for varying a resistance value by the displacement of the displacement acquiring plate; detecting means for detecting the idling between the driver body and the bit by the clutch mechanism; and sending means for sending the resistance value and the detection result by the detecting means. |
