PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel, which can realize weight reduction and miniaturization, increase bearing rigidity and extend the service life thereof.SOLUTION: In this bearing device for a wheel, a pitch circle diameter PCDo of an outer side rolling body 3 is set larger than a pitch circle diameter PCDi of an inner side rolling body 3. An outer member 2 is not provided with a vehicle body fitting flange, which is to be fitted to a knuckle, in the outer periphery thereof, and with a difference of the pitch circle diameters, the peripheral surface is formed to be gradually reduced in diameter from an outer side outer peripheral surface AA to an inner side outer peripheral surface BB. A plurality of fitting parts 17 are formed to be protruded outward in the radial direction from the inner side outer peripheral surface BB, and the fitting part 17 is formed with a fitting surface 2c parallel with an end surface of the outer member 2. The fitting surface 2c is formed with a screw hole 18, into which a fixing bolt is fastened to fasten the fitting surface 2c to the knuckle. |
