<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of restoring a main controller in a sleep state quicker than before. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes a print engine 11 for performing printing, a main controller 14 having a CPU 14a, a ROM 14b, and a RAM 14c and instructing the print engine 11 to perform printing, an energy conservation controller 15 of which consumption power is less than that of the main controller 14, and a nonvolatile storage device 16 for storing a restoration timing RAM state that is a state of the RAM 14c at some point of the time between a sleep state in which power is supplied to the energy conservation controller 15 after power supply to the main controller 14 is stopped and restoration of the main controller 14. When restoration from a sleep state is performed, the CPU 14a firstly restores a state of the RAM 14c to the restoration timing RAM state stored in the nonvolatile storage device 16, and then performs the rest of restoration processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
