The present invention relates to a method and a system for virtualizing a computing device in a cluster system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for virtualizing a computing device in a cluster system including a plurality of nodes, each node including at least one computing device comprises: executing an open computing language (OpenCl) application in at least one node; distributing work load resulting from the execution of the OpenCl application into the nodes; and distributing the distributed work load to the at least one computing device, which is included in each node, in the node to virtualize the computing device. Therefore, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the OpenCL application for one node can be automatically operated under a homogeneous manycore cluster environment without modifying a source code.
