<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold for integrally forming an intake passage and a surge tank through a forming step once without a welding step. <P>SOLUTION: The intake manifold 1 made of resin includes an intake pipe 10 for introducing air, a surge tank 20 connected with the intake pipe 10, a first intake passage 30 and a second intake passage 40 branched from the surge tank 20, and a first flange 50 formed at ends of the first intake passage 30 and the second intake passage 40. Curvatures of the first intake passage 30 and the second intake passage 40 of the intake manifold 1 are constant, inner side wall surfaces of the first intake passage 30 and the second intake passage 40 are free from a parting line and welding traces, the first intake passage 30 and the second intake passage 40 are merged and communicated with the surge tank 20, and the intake pipe 10, the surge tank 20, the first intake passage 30, the second intake passage 40 and the first flange 50 are integrally formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
