Medical instrument for setting tissue clamps

The instrument has a bending-resistant pipe shaft (6) including a proximal end mounted at an instrument handle (40). A cap (1) is fixed at a distal end of the shaft. A tissue clip (4) is elastically fitted on the cap. A releasing and detaching device detaches the clip from the cap. A distal end section of the shaft is arranged offset in a region directly before the cap or the cap is arranged offset in a preset fixed angle so that a detaching direction for the clip is aligned in an angle to a pipe shaft axis. The detaching direction is defined by the cap.
