The present invention relates to a device and assembly for transporting a child, such as a pram and/or buggy. According to the invention the pram comprises two wheel-bearing arms which are pivotally coupled by a coupling housing. One of these arms is pivotally connected to a connector element for coupling to for instance a child's seat. The pram further comprises a transmission between the connector element and the other arm for the purpose of rotating the connector element during said pivoting of the pram from the folded-open position to the collapsed position.
