A decretive ornament in the shape of a regulation football comprises a plurality of hexagonal and pentagonal panels. The panels may be formed of metal or plastic strips 2 interconnected at their distal ends. The football ornament may be provided in several forms, as a construction kit and as a ready-made holder or focus for items of memorabilia such as team emblems and colours, player portrait photos and signatures as well as action shots. Other fields of interest such as film and television celebrities, product and brand logos, places, artistic images and current or topical items may be represented. The invention may also be adapted to house a light, a clock and an audio device. |
