<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive rotary compressor with an overheat prevention device. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary compressor includes: a mounting hole penetrating a second suction hole from a top surface of a second cylinder; a communication member 51 provided with a penetration hole 51a at the center, and at one end of which a fixing part 51b fixed at the mounting hole is formed and the another end of which provides a valve seat 51c; and a heat deformable valve member 52 for normally closing the penetration hole 51a of the valve seat 51c of the communication member 51, and for returning coolant gas in a compressor housing to the second suction hole by opening the penetration hole 51a of the valve seat 51c when the temperature inside the compressor housing reaches above a predetermined temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
