PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal alignment agent varnish for a liquid crystal orientation film included in a liquid crystal display device, which has high sensitivity to exposure.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal alignment agent varnish for a liquid crystal orientation film included in a liquid crystal display device includes: a solvent; and polyamic acid and/or polyamic acid ester formed by at least using tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and diamine represented by the following chemical formula (18), where R4 each independently represents hydrogen, alkyl group having three or less carbons, alkoxy group having three or less carbons, dialkylamino group, or alkylamino group, and R5 each independently represents methyl group, alkoxy group having three or less carbons, dialkylamino group, or alkylamino group. |
