VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY

A seat adjustment mechanism for providing fore-aft adjustment of a vehicle seat is provided. The adjustment mechanism comprises a runner for rigid fixing to the vehicle floor and a slider for rigid fixing to a frame of the seat. The slider is arranged for cooperating with the runner to provide fore-aft adjustment of a position of the vehicle seat, and the runner is inclined upwardly towards the rear of the vehicle.
