摘要 A robot cleaner and a control method thereof according to the present invention select a seed pixel in an image obtained by photographing a front of a main body, and obtain a brightness difference between an upper region and a lower region obtained by dividing a fixed search region where a pixel belongs, horizontally as to pixels around the seed pixel, and select a pixel belonging to the search region with the largest brightness difference as a pixel constituting a boundary among objects displayed on the image. Therefore, the robot cleaner and the control method thereof can grasp the boundary among the objects existing in a cleaning region rapidly and accurately through an image.
