The present invention relates to a system and a method for preventing disasters in construction sites, the system securing images of surrounding environments or equipment used in the construction sites, thereby analyzing risk factors probably occurring by the equipment installed or used in the construction sites or construction resources scattered in the construction sites, and providing an analysis result. The system comprises: site monitoring devices installed in a specific position of the construction sites, and securing and transmitting environment information and equipment monitoring information of the construction sites periodically; and a disaster prevention management server performing an equipment operation and safety analysis by receiving the environment information and the equipment monitoring information of the construction site from the site monitoring devices, building a database with equipment operation and analysis result information, providing the database, and providing the risk factor information to user terminal devices when the risk factor information is drawn from the analyzing result of the equipment operation and safety. Accordingly, the system provides an effect of preventing property and life damage from occurring due to a big disaster.
