The present invention relates to an air conditioning device of a product line using compressed air capable of matching a required output capacity condition by predicting the amount of compressed air used and improving operation efficiency of a compressing pump and a refrigeration cycle, and a method for operating the same. The air conditioning device comprises: an air chamber accommodating air suctioned from an air introducing line and discharging air through an air supplying line extending to a product line; a compressing pump installed on the air introducing line to suck external air and supply the compressed air to the inside of the air chamber; a refrigeration cycle wherein an evaporator or a condenser is installed in and connected to the air chamber; a first regulator installed on a branched line branching from the air supplying line to supply air at a preset air pressure to the branched line; and a controller controlling the operation of the compressing pump and refrigeration cycle.
