PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum bulb that facilitates confirmation on a solder periphery at a vacuum airtight place even after vacuum airtight sealing by vacuum soldering without increasing the number of components, has a long lifetime by increasing the vacuum airtight place and area, and can be adapted to a high-speed switch.SOLUTION: In a vacuum bulb such that an insulation cylinder 1 has one end sealed with a fixed-side flange and the other end sealed with a movable-side flange 3, a fixed-side electrode rod 5 is fixed to the fixed-side flange 2 and a movable-side electrode rod 6 is mounted on the movable-side flange 3 through bellows 7 to be displaced axially, and electrodes 9, 10 fixed to opposite surfaces of the fixed-side electrode rod 5 and movable-side electrode rod 6 freely contact and leave each other on the axis of the insulation cylinder 1, the bellows 7 form a bellows-like outer peripheral side cylinder part 7a and an inner peripheral side cylindrical part 7c extending axially along an outer peripheral surface of the movable-side electrode rod 6, and the inside of the bellows inner peripheral cylindrical part 7c and movable-side electrode rod 6 are joined together by soldering. |
