FIELD: electronic equipment.SUBSTANCE: method of producing emission-active alloy cathode for microwave vacuum-tube devices involves preparation of starting alloy components of specified ratio based on at least two components at same time, wherein one of them is refractory metal, other is alkali-earth metal compound of initial components alloy cathode in inert gas medium by means of high-temperature melting and crystallised to billet alloy cathode, at that, at least double repetition of said process operation, processing of alloy cathode to specified size and shape.
