A percutaneous absorption promoter which comprises a lipopeptide compound or a salt thereof. In a static Franz cell test using a physiologically active component with a log P value of -5.5-1.0, the percutaneous absorption promoter can promote the skin permeation rate, for example, twice or more per wt% of the lipopeptide compound or a salt thereof compared with a case wherein the lipopeptide compound or a salt thereof is not added.
