The battery storage unit (10) has several storage batteries (12) which are industrial batteries conforming to DIN EN43535 DIN EN43531and DIN EN43536standards. A device for providing control power for electric power supply network (24) from the storage battery, is provided with a converter (18). A controller (26) is provided for charging and discharging currents in industrial batteries or group of industrial batteries, for providing the control power to individually control and store information about the remaining life of battery. An independent claim is included for method for providing balancing energy for electrical supply network. |
