PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a reduced amount of code of a game control program.SOLUTION: A game machine including a game control device includes: a calculation processing unit for executing calculation processing; a register for storing data; and an update information memory unit for storing information updated by the calculation processing unit. A multibyte address is assigned to the update information memory unit, and stored information is identified by the address. The register includes a register for specifying an upper address which specifies an upper address. When a predetermined start signal is generated, initialization processing is executed, and then the calculation processing unit executes game control processing, and when a predetermined power failure signal is generated during the game control processing, processing at power failure is executed. In the initialization processing, information is given to and received from memory areas of the update information memory unit which have different upper addresses, and the information stored at the address based on a value set in the register for specifying an upper address, is used to perform the initialization processing. |
