<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller ensuring highly accurate torque control by performing compensation including the setting error of motor constant. <P>SOLUTION: A motor controller 100 has a control unit which controls a current supplied to a motor so that a current command value obtained from a torque command value for a motor MOT matches a current detection value for a current supplied to the motor MOT via a power converter INV. The control unit estimates a torque output from the motor, and controls a current supplied to the motor so that a torque estimation value of the motor matches a torque command value. A torque estimation operation unit 20 estimates a torque output from the motor. A phase error command operation unit 25 calculates a command value of phase error from the deviation of the torque estimation value from the torque command value.
