The arrangement has a stable multi-part frame (30) partially surrounding a coil unit (20), and a replaceable driving metal sheet (60) i.e. drive foil, positioned in a working area between the coil unit and/or a metal sheet-like material to be cut and/or shaped. The coil unit is completely enclosed by the driving metal sheet. The spatially formed driving metal sheet is arranged and supported outside of the working area between the coil unit and the frame. End sections of the driving metal sheet electrically contact with each other, and the frame is made of a plastic material.
