The switch has an electronic evaluation unit (16) electrically connected with a sensor section (12) and a contact section (18). The sensor section is arranged on a side of an electrically insulating cover plate (10) corresponding to a touch panel (11) and parallel to the cover plate. The contact section attaches a sensor element to a carrier plate (14), where the carrier plate is arranged at an angle of 30 degree to the cover plate. The sensor section is arranged and/or fixed in a direction perpendicular to the cover plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a capacitive contact and/or proximity switch. |
