A flexible floating evaporator for solar distillation of water. The preferred embodiment consists of a floating evaporator allowing water to evaporate between 2 isolated outer walls of non-organic materials - the upper transparent and the lower opaque and heat absorbing black. The evaporator is flexible and floats freely according to wind direction and wave movement from a fixation point. The saturated and heated water vapour is from the evaporator pumped to a condenser and distilled water is produced. |
