The invention relates to a refrigerating appliance comprising a body (2) containing at least one storage chamber (13, 23), a separate evaporator chamber (14), and a door (1). A first inlet (15) facing the door (1) is formed in a wall (12) of the evaporator chamber (14), and a first air channel (6) extending into the door (1) comprises an outlet (7) which is located opposite the first inlet (15) and separated therefrom by a gap (17). A flow guiding surface (2) extends from an edge of the first inlet (15) towards the door (1), and the first air channel (6) is designed in such a way as to expel an air flow oriented obliquely to the guiding surface (2).
