The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating organic material of biological origin by making use of carbonization, the apparatus comprising devices for material homogenization, its drying and its carbonization by heat comprised in combustion products of the carbonization processing gas combustion in a combustion chamber, the apparatus is characterized in that a steam generator (12) is connected to the combustion products (11) outlet from the combustion chamber (10) wherein said steam generator (12) steam outlet is connected to a steam biocoal activator (8), while the combustion products outlet thereof is connected to a carbonization chamber (5). The carbonization chamber (5) biocoal outlet (6) is connected to the steam activator (8), while the combustion products outlet thereof is connected to a drier (3), whereby besides the carbonization processing gas, an external heat source (13) has its outlet into the combustion chamber (10), too. |
