<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing illegal operation to be hardly performed to the progress of a game even if it is attempted by behaving dishonestly in acquisition of numerical information. <P>SOLUTION: An MPU 102 performs a winning/losing lottery based on occurrence of entry of a game ball into an operation hole, and performs a shift to an opening/closing execution mode when the lottery is won. A jackpot random number counter is utilized in the winning/losing lottery. The jackpot random number counter is a loop counter for regularly updating numerical information, and an update form for increasing the numerical information toward the maximum value one by one and an update form for setting to the minimum value when the maximum value is exceeded are included when the numerical information is updated regularly.
