The device (5) has a dryer housing enclosing the drying device such that a closed area is in connection with machine elements of a sheet laminating machine, where a film web (10) coated with an adhesive is guided through the closed area. An infrared emitter (9) is arranged within the housing, and a pneumatic or electrical adjusting unit e.g. stepper motor or linear motor, permits displacement of the emitter relative to a substrate surface of the film web. The housing is designed as a two-piece with upper and lower parts and stationary during laminating process. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a drying device. |
