摘要 The present invention relates to a silicon-based negative electrode active material and a manufacturing method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the silicon-based negative electrode active material includes: a particle including silicon and oxygen coupled with the silicon and coated with a carbon-based conductive film on an outermost side thereof; and boron doped inside the particle. The content of the boron with respect to the total weight of the particle and the doped boron is in the range of 0.01 to 17 wt%, and the content of the oxygen is in the range of 16 to 29 wt%. Therefore, the silicon-based negative electrode active material can have a high capacity keeping ratio by improving a lifespan and charging and discharging efficiency.
