The present invention relates to a method for displaying a physical location of a globular planet including the Earth using a number in a decimal fraction. The method of the present invention comprises: a first step for dividing the entire surface of a planet or a portion of the planet into square forms having an upper side and a bottom side in parallel with each other and assigning a section number to each section; a second step for equally splitting the region which includes the location of an object among the sections assigned in the first step and assigning a main partition number to each split region; a third step for equally splitting the region including the location of the object among the equally split region in the same way that the second step was performed and assigning a subordinate partition number in the same way that the main partition number was assigned to each split region; and a fourth step for repeatedly performing the third step until the split region has a size less than or equal to a predetermined size. The physical location of an object is expressed in combination of the section number, the main partition number, and the subordinate partition number. A user can easily find and get to the location of an object using a map or a sign with a number representing the location fwithout using a tool such as a GPS. |
