The present invention relates to a method for calculating a fatigue resulting from color change of a three-dimensional stereoscopic image. The fatigue calculation method includes: a step of receiving an input image; a step of dividing each frame of the received input image into N×N regions; a step of extracting a parameter value depending on a color change region by region from each frame; and a step of calculating the fatigue of the input image based on the extracted parameter value, wherein the parameter value is defined by the number of regions where a detection value detecting changes in color saturation, color difference (ΔE), color (black-and-white conversion or non-conversion), hue scale, and color contrast in each region satisfies a predetermined condition. According to the present invention, a fatigue calculation modeling focusing on stereoscopic image content is newly proposed instead of an existing fatigue calculation modeling focusing on a stereoscopic image viewing environment. Accordingly, a new reference and a new analysis tool regulating a viewing fatigue resulting from the stereoscopic image content are proposed, and thus the viewing fatigue attributable to the stereoscopic image content (color change in particular) can be reduced. |
