An objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for diagnosing a battery voltage measurement circuit which measures a voltage at different time points to precisely diagnose whether a battery voltage measurement circuit having a measurement error malfunctions. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for diagnosing a battery voltage measurement circuit comprises: a first voltage measurement circuit to measure an overall cell voltage of a first battery module in a battery pack consisting of a plurality of battery modules by a switching circuit; a second voltage measurement circuit to measure an overall cell voltage of a second battery module connected to be adjacent to the first battery module by a switching circuit, and redundantly measure a reference cell voltage of the first battery module; and a control unit to compare a voltage difference between the reference cell voltages of the first battery module measured by the first and second voltage measurement circuits with a prescribed voltage value to diagnose malfunction of the first voltage measurement circuit or the second voltage measurement circuit. |
