The present invention introduces a pain self-management system and a managing method. The pain self-management system comprises: a pain controlled analgesic (PCA) pump which can inject a drug with a selected way among a plurality of drug injection modes, and can increase the amount of drug injection when a patient requests; and a patient monitoring management apparatus which performs at least one function from a function for monitoring a drug injection rate and a drug injection amount of a patient who receives the drug through the PCA pump, and a function capable of changing the drug injection modes of the PCA pump, and transceive data with short range wireless communications, thereby enabling a small number of nurses to effectively managing a plurality of patients. |
