In a vehicle AC power generator according to the invention, a resin case (26) has: a protrusion portion (33) formed extending in a shaft line direction on the outer circumferential surface of the resin case (26) and making a pressure contact with the inner circumferential wall surface of an outboard bearing housing portion (24); and a recess portion (34) formed facing the protrusion portion (33) on the inner circumferential surface of the resin case (26), wherein the recess portion (34) allows the protrusion portion (33) to be displaced in a radially inside direction. The resin case (26) is integrated with the outboard bearing housing portion (24) by an elastic force generated by the displacement of the protrusion portion (33).
