The present invention relates to an organic light emitting display device and a method for driving the organic light emitting display device which can minimize power consumption related to a set margin of high electric potential driving voltage. The organic light emission display device according to the present invention comprises a display panel, a data drive circuit, a timing controller, and a power supply circuit. The display panel comprises a plurality of pixels, and each of the pixels comprises an OLED and a drive TFT supplying pixel current to the OLED. The data drive circuit senses threshold voltages of drive TFTs for the pixels, and outputs sensing result values. The timing controller derives threshold voltage variation values based on the sensing result values, and outputs the highest of the threshold voltage variation values. Furthermore, the power supply circuit adjusts high electric potential drive voltage to be applied to the pixels, based on the highest threshold voltage variation value. |
