The present invention relates to a large-scale external awning system for high-rise buildings, comprising: a winch (100) installed in an upper floor, a top, or the ground, and used to drag down or pull up a cable (110); a guide wire (200) connected from the upper floor or the top to a lower floor or the ground on the high-rise building, wherein the two guide wires are placed to be spaced apart each other side by side; a plurality of ascending/descending bars (300) installed in a horizontal direction, and ascending or descending along the guide wire (200) wherein a wire passing hole (310) is placed on each end of the right and left side such that the guide wire (200) passes through the wire passing hole; and an awning screen (400) coupled to the ascending/descending bars (300) and spread out as a distance between the ascending/descending bars increases in the case of ascending or descending of the ascending/descending bars (300).
