The present invention provides a heat pump system, properly using performance of a compressor for heating and storing heat. A hot water heating system (2) operates second simultaneous heat storage heating operation different from first simultaneous heat storage heating operation where a heat medium passes through a heating terminal (56) when the indoor temperature is equal to or larger than the set heating temperature in the case of simultaneous heat storage heating operation. The heat medium does not pass through the heating terminal (56) in the second simultaneous heat storage heating operation, so that heating operation by the heating terminal (56) is not performed.
