The present invention provides a system and a method for easily creating augmented reality (AR) content with a simple process for operating a capture button by using a simple image and video capturing device such as a smartphone. An AR content creation and reproduction system includes: an image obtaining unit including a preview mode displaying an image on a screen, and a capture mode capturing a moving picture when a capture button is pressed in a preview mode state, automatically capturing marker images at a time point before and after capturing and converting the marker images into an image file; a storage unit automatically storing the moving picture file and image file obtained by the image obtaining unit; a mapping unit mapping the image and the moving picture, which are stored in the storage unit, with each other; an AR processing unit recognizing the image corresponding to the marker from the image obtained through the image obtaining unit, calling the moving picture mapped to the corresponding image and overlaying the moving picture on a marker position in the screen of a preview state; and a control unit controlling processes for creating and reproducing the content with an AR application. |
