Disclosed is a method for forming spheroid using hyaluronic acid hydrogel microspheres. The disclosed method for forming spheroid comprises the steps of: preparing chemically cross-linked hyaluronic acid hydrogel microspheres; swelling the hyaluronic acid hydrogel microspheres into a culture medium; mixing the swelled microspheres and cells and culturing the same.
