The present invention relates to a vinyl-based thermoplastic resin composition which exhibits superior thermostability and contains a first vinyl-based monomer and a second vinyl-based monomer in which the both include a metal complex agent and having different concentration of iron ions. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof and a vinyl-based thermoplastic resin produced therefrom. The vinyl-based thermoplastic resin composition can increase thermostability, and the vinyl-based thermoplastic resin produced from the composition exhibits excellent thermostability as well, thereby being easily applicable to industries requiring the composition and the resin such as vinyl-based thermoplastic resin and molded products thereof.
