A telematics system is disclosed. The system may comprise: a mobile terminal which receives point of interest (POI) information from an SNS server and transmits the POI information to a telematics center; the telematics center which determines validity of a POI string included in the transmitted POI information, and, when the POI string is valid, converts the POI string into a preset format and transmits the converted POI string to a mobile communication server; the mobile communication server which transmits the converted POI string to a telematics terminal of a vehicle; and the telematics terminal which provides a navigation path, corresponding to the converted POI string transmitted to the telematics terminal, through user input. Therefore, convenience of a user may be improved. |
