The present invention relates to a boiler using electricity and, more specifically, to a boiler using electricity capable of: generating steam or hot water very quickly by including multiple electric heater rods and directly or indirectly heating water stored in the outside of the electric heater rods; and operating one or more boiler units in accordance with the required quantity of hot water or the required time required for generating the hot water by enabling one boiler unit to be connected with another boiler unit through a connection pipe. For the above, the present invention comprises: a lower water pipe into which water flows in order to generate hot water or steam; multiple central water pipes which are installed to be separated from each other at a predetermined interval in a vertical direction to be connected with the lower water pipe and store water flowing from the lower water pipe; an upper steam pipe which collects steam generated from the central water pipes; and electric heater rods which are accommodated in the central water pipes by penetrating the upper steam pipe and are arranged individually in each central water pipe to generate heat by receiving external power. The lower water pipe: is arranged so that two lower water pipes are in contact with each other in parallel; has an inlet pipe into which water flows in one side of any one lower water pipe; has an outlet pipe through which generated hot water is discharged to the outside in one side of another lower water pipe; and is connected with another lower water pipe in one side.
