The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for searching for information. The present invention provides an apparatus for searching for information, comprising: a storage unit which stores a special page access information database for each number, in which special page access information for each number has been databased; an interface unit which receives a number received from a user communication terminal; an analysis unit which checks whether a configuration pattern of the number is consistent with a predetermined configuration pattern, in which a special symbol has been disposed at one or more of locations ahead of and behind the number and in the middle of the number, by analyzing a configuration pattern of the number received via the interface unit; and a processing unit which extracts special page access information corresponding to the number from the special page access information database for each number if, as a result of the checking of the analysis unit, the configuration pattern of the number is consistent with the predetermined configuration pattern, generates a special search result page in which the special page access information has been disposed in a specific region of a previous search result page, and provides the special search result page to the user communication terminal. |
