The present invention relates to a wearable device capable of easily attaching/detaching a sensor for detecting a biological signal, and a method for controlling the wearable device. The wearable device comprises: a wearing part configured to assist a user in wearing the wearable device on a body part of the user; a first interface part configured to receive a biological signal from a sensor installed in the wearable device; a control unit configured to generate biological information based on the received biological signal; and an output unit configured to output the generated biological information.
